$5-in-Paris Sweater

Yarn: Caron Simply Soft [100% acrylic; 330 yds/302 m per 170g skein]; colors: New White, 9726 Soft Yellow; one skein of new white, less than one skein soft yellow

Care: machine wash warm, tumble dry low

Needles: US 8 / 5 mm circular, US 8 / 5 mm double-points, US 9 / 5.5 mm circular

Pattern: Anna (
Knitting up a Storm)

Modifications: I shortened the torso to fit my size, shortened the sleeves ending with yellow instead of white. I also reduced the ribbing to two inches. As mentioned in my previous post, I also had to adjust the neckline. I added an adjustable strand running through the knit stitches under the ribbing. This allows the neckline to go from tight to off the shoulder as desired.

Date Completed: July 29, 2007
