Happy Early Fall!

It's been wild and wooly chez moi, but with summer officially coming to a close today, I am back and ready to blog! What better way to return than with a WIP update! I have been crafting all summer, but really not finishing much...alas. I'm going to make a real effort to finish something by the end of this month. Here's hoping! Behold, my current projects (from oldest to newest):

My Central Park Hoodie
I figured it would be nice to have black cardigan for Fall in RI. It would be great to have this to wear on these chilly days! If only I had actually knit on it this summer. Now it's cold and I have no lovely cardigan to put on. Concerted effort is going to this project! Really :)

Tie-Back Shell
Messed up the lace on this one three different times :( After frogging it and restarting as many time, I finally caved and just put in a bazillion stitch markers. Now things are on track, but I needed a break from the counting. Will resume shortly.

Alhambra Scarf
A small carry-along project to work on when I don't want to lug large sweaters with me. As such, the knitting is going quite slowly, which is fine. No deadline on this one.

Berry and Bramble Cardigan
Saw this in IK Fall 2009, and immediately got the yarn from my stash (cannibalized from the Pea Coat disaster!) and cast on. Several issues with this pattern due to poor knitting situational choices...but I will get back to this as it looks gorgeous, and the color is to-die-for! Can't wait to wear it with nice pants and heels :)

Mystery Project
I can't really talk about this one, but I will say it's small and portable. If you want to know what it is all about, you can find it on Ravelry.

There are other projects that are hibernating, and as I finish these, I will rescue one of those from obscurity. Also, look for an Etsy announcement in the coming months!

Until next time...

I think you have more WIPs than I do right now. I am quite impressed. We can knit on our CPH together - I am making one for Jen for Christmas that I cast on today.

Cant wait to see how that Tie-Back Shell shapes up, it is such a neat pattern.

At the rate I'm going, you'll finish Jen's before I get to my sleeves :)
