I'm stressed folks! My chapter is taking over my soul... And my needles have arrived, so I can continue with the vintage sweater as soon as I write two more pages of quality text! I need to knit tonight, like, for real! But first, the Roma section...sigh.
Last night I went to Everyman Bistro's Open Mike with a group of lovely friends and my bag o' knitting. I had a burger burnt to cancer stage (my own fault), beans, Rhody Diet Cola, and delicious apple pie. It was good times. And look what I made! I was actually able to carry on numerous conversations and not mess up the color work on my first Vinterbomster mitten! It's my first full project using color, and I am thrilled so far.
Oh, and here's a picture of me wearing my Beech Wood! Still haven't washed or blocked it and have already worn it twice...I guess this is a keeper!
Until next time...

Very nice colors, My Little One. Can't wait to see what the mitten looks like. - Mom
I really like the colors you chose for your mittens. Congrats on completing your first event.
Thanks Mom and Sarah! I think this mitten may kick start a color work obsession which is good because I have a whole Fair Isle sweater I've been afraid to knit:)
